This document has been compiled to set out the terms and conditions of the company. It describes the rights, responsibility and obligations of all parties involved in the agreement. The terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without warning.
It is important that you read the terms and conditions in full and that they are complete and correct before you sign any contract.
2. Bookings and Confirmation
2.1 When a booking is made, you must complete an accurate description of the property needing work. The company Eco Cleaning reserves the right to recalculate the quote if further work is required as a result of an inaccurate description.
2.2 If information or other details provided to us are not correct, we reserve the right to cancel any order placed with us or you may incur an additional charge.
2.3 It is important that our staff have sufficient access to the property. If the cleaners cannot complete the contract due to lack of access to the property, then a minimum charge of £50 will apply.
2.4 Bookings can only be secured by using a valid credit or debit card, for which there is a 2% charge if a credit card is used.
2.5 When the order for work has been confirmed, we will reserve a slot for the work to be completed. The time of this slot is only an estimate and cannot be guaranteed. A slot may be delayed or cancelled due to circumstances out of our control. This includes, but is not limited to, traffic or adverse weather.
2.6 We take no responsibility for parking arrangements, this must be arranged by the customer. Any fines or parking fees is the responsibility of the customer.
3. Pricing and Payment
3.1 All services must be paid for in full by cash, credit card or debit card at the commencement of the service. Payment by cheque is not accepted.
3.2 The prices we quote reflect the minimum price charged for the service provided.
3.3 There may be additional charges that will apply in certain circumstances. These include congestion charge of £11.5 or a charge for any property located outside the M25 area.
4. Cancellation and rescheduling of appointments
4.1 Cancellation of appointments must have a minimum of 24 hours notice. Where an appointment is cancelled without 24 hours notice, a fee of £50 will be applied without further notice.
4.2 Where an appointment has to be rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice, Eco Cleaning reserves the right to charge a £25 fee.
5. Requirements of Service
5.1 It is important that the health and safety of our employees is maintained. They must have access to to adequate lighting and warm water at the property to be visited. We may cancel an appointment if the health and safety of our staff is not maintained.
5.2 Eco Cleaning reserve the right to employ the use of subcontractors to complete some or all of the work our behalf.
5.3 You or a representative are required to be present at the property when work is completed. This is so that the work can be signed off as completed to your satisfaction. If neither yourself nor a representative is present, then the work will be deemed as accepted by you.
6.1 The company Eco Cleaning shall not be liable or responsible for any of the following instances:
a. Wear or discolouration becoming more prominent after the cleaning process.
b. Any stains or damage that cannot be removed by the cleaning process.
c. Any damage sustained to wooden flooring as a result of lack of protective pads on furniture.
d. The inability of teams to complete work due to the arrival of a third party.
e. Shrinkage caused to curtains by the steam cleaning process.
Eco Cleaning will endeavour to deal with any issues arising from a service we provide. Any complaint filed more than 7 working days from the date the service was provided will not be considered.
